AS OF MAY 2008, my schedule has changed dramatically. As many of you know, I have taken the President / CEO position with Imago Productions, Inc., a major trade show production and management company (www.imagotradeshows.com). With these new responsibilities, I will no longer have the ability to keep my gig schedule full, and have resigned from my position with theWilson Braswell band. I will still play pick-up gigs from time to time, but for the most part, will only be performing with my Praise & Worship band at First Baptist Church Alpharetta. First Baptist Church Alpharetta Contemporary Praise & Worship! I started with FBCA in January 2004. Since then, we have witnessed the church evolve into an amazing place of worship. The band continues to get stronger with Brad Williams on bass and Brad Large on Guitar. I hope you can stop by some time to check out the music and service. It is truly amazing! A new Motif XS editor is scheduled for release at the same time as the new OS (see above) that supports new features including Drum Kit editing and editing of Global parameters in Utility mode. You must use the new editor with the new OS, they are a set. An update to a VST editor with MediaBay compatibility is planned for the end of July. This will make the Motif XS the very first VST3-compatible hardware synth. The artists on the Yamaha roster play Yamaha drums because of the quality and craftsmanship of the products. The drummers with Yamaha are a family, and I can't tell you how much it means to be welcomed to the family personally by Keith Carlock himself. To the Yamaha family, THANK YOU!
