In addition, when his schedule allows him the opportunity, he continues to perform with a number of Atlanta-based bands.

THE RUMOR MILL: The word on the street is that Against The Grain (Chris Blackwell, Jeff Brewer, Tim Hamilton, Keith Tressel, Jimmy Mouton) will be getting back together, including James David Carter. This has not been confirmed, but we are working to uncover if this is fact or fiction. As soon as we know, we will pass the word.

ON THAT NOTE...

From Jimmy....

"I want to write THANK YOU to John Messerschmidt, Mike Lamb and Cole Eunson for their amazing support and service to help me with Yamaha Drums.  YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!  Though I have played Drum Workshop for the past 14 years, the drums Yamaha are producing are simply the best in the industry. It is for this reason artists such as Keith Carlock, David Garibaldi, Tom Knight, Dave Weckl, Carter Beauford, Steve Gadd, Sonny Emory and more have all joined the Yamaha family.  The artists on the Yamaha roster play Yamaha drums because of the quality and craftsmanship of the products.  The drummers with Yamaha are a family, and I can't tell you how much it means to be welcomed to the family personally by Keith Carlock himself.  To the Yamaha family, THANK YOU! I am proud to be a part of the team! Come out to a show and we can talk drums - Yamaha drums!!!! No matter what your level, they have a kit for you, and you will love it!"

Thanks for reading, and see ya' at the gigs –
