YAMAHA ABSOLUTE MAPLE CUSTOM
As of March 1, I have signed on to the artist roster of Yamaha Drums. Though I have played Drum Workshop for the past 14 years, the drums Yamaha are producing are simply the best in the industry. It is for this reason artists such as Tom Knight, Dave Weckl, Carter Beauford, Steve Gadd, Sonny Emory and more have all joined the Yamaha family. Did you know the Yamaha companies refuse to pay artists to play their drums? The artists on the Yamaha roster play Yamaha drums because of the quality and craftsmanship of the products. I will be moving to the Maple Custom Absolute kit with a Red Pearl Natural finish. The drums are on special order and should arrive within the next 3 months. The kit will consist of a 22" kick, 10", 12", 14" and 16" toms, and the Sonny Emory Signature Snare (killer sound). To Mike Lamb, Joe Testa, Tom Knight and the rest of the Yamaha family, THANK YOU!
